Train to be a TGSA Coach

To acquire our highest qualification and become accredited as a Terry Griffiths Snooker Academy (TGSA) Coach, you must undertake your training and deliver your coaching through an official Terry Griffiths Snooker Academy.

This accreditation process requires an intensive training programme and examination. The course offers you everything you would cover in our 'Train to be a Coach' technical programme, but also includes our 'One Chance' training philosophy and offers you more detailed guidance in the following areas:

• Correction of common faults;
• Preparation and practice;
• Training plans;
• Practice routines;
• Objective setting and motivation;
• Game play;
• Snooker Psychology;
• Snooker Lab technical analysis software.

The cost of the training is calculated on a case by case basis as there are many different factors to consider. We can train up to 4 coaches during each seminar so that costs can be spread if you have multiple applicants.

As these coaches will be training within our Academy set up, Terry Griffiths or Wayne Griffiths will personally examine each person attending these courses.

This course can be provided at our TGSA in Wales or, where practical and economical, can be delivered on site at your local TGSA. In this instance the cost of the course remains the same, but there would be additional costs due for travel, accommodation and subsistence.

This course will provide you with everything you need to operate as a full time coach within a full time Snooker Academy if required. Remember that we are the only Academy offering a programme that is designed, monitored and regularly updated by a leading world coach and former world champion.
